Jenny Reddin is a Melbourne-based artist and sculptor who explores the intersection of natural and human-made forms. She often constructs her sculptures from metal sheets and bars, playing with themes of balance, gravity, and spatial tension. From floating cube shapes to plasma-cut life-sized figures depicting families and everyday scenes, Reddin’s work engages deeply with both environment and emotion.
Embracing Fluidity: Abstract Painted Surfaces Inspired by Nature
Defining herself as a poured paint artist, she embraces fluidity and chance. Her vibrant abstract surfaces evoke aerial landscapes and magnified natural structures. Through her mastery of process and materials, Reddin creates glowing, textured works that invite personal interpretation. They reflect on the fragility and vitality of life, inviting viewers to connect emotionally.

Reddin’s work has exhibited internationally and appears in collections across Asia, the US, and Australia. Her recent sculpture, High Jinks, became a finalist at the Interior Small Sculpture Exhibition held by YAVA Gallery. Currently, she plans to expand this work into a large-scale outdoor piece. Additionally, Reddin received an artist residency at Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong, supported by developer Paul Franze.
