Cezary Stulgis has a comprehensive visual arts background; Certificate of Arts and Design in Brisbane 1992, Bachelor of Visual Arts in QUT, Brisbane in 1995, MFA with Distinction from the renowned Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow Poland in 2000. His solo shows have exhibited Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay Sydney, Melbourne and Poland. Cezary has been commissioned by corporations and councils for more than 20 public sculptures across Australia and featured in publications since 1992. In 2007 he was awarded the Creative Sparks Grant from Brisbane City Council and in 2009 he received the Regional Arts Development Found, Sunshine Coast Council. Currently, Cezary Stulgis is completing a Winter Residency at the Yarra Sculpture Gallery and is represented by West End Art Space in Melbourne.
