These paintings trace what flickers at the edges of vision:
shadows falling across a wall, light caught in water, a
gesture glimpsed but never complete. They linger in the
space between clarity and obscurity, where longing
gathers around what cannot be fully seen or said.
Working from found images and personal archives, I use
paint to blur, crop, and withhold – holding the image in
suspension. Desire moves through these thresholds not
in its satisfaction, but in its delay. Each work carries a
fragment, a residue, a trace: an image that hovers
between presence and disappearance, intimate yet
withheld. They dwell in the fragility of seeing, and the
ache of what slips away.
