This figure in a landscape piece came about by re working the surface finish on a sculpture that l had in my studio. I’m working on contemporary human figures at the moment, trying to give a more human expression in my work.  I have been influenced by Antony Gormley, Tony Cragg and Tracey Emin. I hope that Don Barrett is somewhere there in the mix.
