“Create 7 is an annual exhibition by a collection of artists associated with Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services, now in its seventh year. The aim of the exhibition is to make use of the expansive potential of art to showcase the talent, perspective and stories of emerging local artists with lived experiences of mental illness and disability. Through the exhibition, artists are able to hone their artistic talents for both therapeutic and vocational purposes to engender a sense of ongoing pride, achievement and purpose.”
