Molloy-Drum is influenced by the vast space of the Wimmera and Mallee region where he lives. The landscape has directed his arts practice to a place of refinement and expression of simple line and form. The use of building materials can seem quite removed from the artist’ rural home but are a strong reminder of another life lived in busy cities and his suburban upbringing in Dublin and the years lived in New York and Melbourne.
