Recently, I have found myself spending a lot of time wandering through the Melbourne General Cemetery located close to my house.
It is a place full of many wonderful human stories. During these walks, I am drawn to the abundance of displaced artificial flowers clearly left long ago by loved ones.
The beautiful, fragile patina of these flowers seems to reveal the story of time and remembering.
This work explores life’s transience and the stories that bind all of us.
