Monique Lacey on display at Scott Lawrie Gallery

Congratulations Monique in taking part of such an amazing exhibition with such fantastic artists.

The Confessions is an exhibition of work inspired by composer Sir James MacMillan’s seminal work ‘The Confessions of Isobel Gowdie’. The event is inspired by the third Scottish witch hunt which took place in 1662 and is an analogy for modern day witch hunts – where virtue signalling, cancel culture, censorship, and ‘fear of offending’ is becoming endemic – the show features the work of new and established artists. Each artist has created a unique response to the premise for reflection, contemplation, and perhaps even redemption.

Opens 12-6pm, Sunday 10 July and runs every day at the same time until Saturday 23 July, 2022.
Silo6, Auckland Waterfront (cnr of Corner Beaumont Street and Jellicoe St). All welcome.

Stay in the loop!
